Ethereum: Help! I've been mugged!

So in the early hours of 27th December I was mugged, and the assailant got away with goods worth over £5,000.

The good news is that I was fast asleep at the time, and nobody was harmed.

However, I probably need to back-track and work out what went wrong with my security measures.

Ether: a tale of two blockchains

The price of Ether (ETH) has rocketed this year and is currently 23 27 times greater than 6 months ago.

For anyone that bought ether last year, this is very good news indeed.

But there are two reasons to be cheerful for anyone that has held onto their ether for at least the last 11 months.

So I decided to create a new wallet and buy Ether.

I found the whole process pretty straightforward, once I had selected the most appropriate place to buy Ether.

Ethereum: my new shiny Ether Bar

At a recent family celebration, I was presented with a shiny copper bar.

I immediately tested it with my teeth, thinking it may be like those metal coins we seem to buy the grand children every Christmas, filled with chocolate.

But this was a solid metal bar, made from brass with a bright copper finish.
