Telegram FOSS: didn't get the code

So is it an adequate replacement?

YouTube: no user account required

Up until recently, viewing videos on YouTube was not a problem.

But I now get a Google nag-screen asking me to sign up and log in.

Is there some way around this?

I now have a smartphone with a non-Google operating system.

I'm not registered with the Google Play Store either.

So I'm almost Google-free.

The user was stuck with a message on the screen and couldn't seem to back out of it.

But as far as I could see, there was a simple way out.
