BirdNet Systems Testing #1

I thought this would be easy

 Just run BirdNet-Pi alondside BirdNet-Go

Then choose which system to use in the future.

BirdNet-Pi: streaming the microphone

This is about audio streaming from my system's mic.

I wanted to use AI to do all the thinking & lead me through the config.

But it didn't turn out to be so simple.

Either way, its an interesting time.

Its suddenly reporting hundreds of Swift calls.

So what going on?

BirdNetPi: false positives & %conf level

 I don't like false positives 

...but I don't want to miss anything!

That's the dilemma when setting the BirdNetPi %confidence level.

Posting Photos from the Field

If you just take photos on a mobile phone ...no problem!

 

But what if you have a proper camera?

Posting audio detection recordings for others can be tricky.

 

It seems that apps like Facebook don't support audio files.

So I was looking for an easy way around this issue.
